All future Southern Cross Electrical Engineering employees shall undergo pre-employment checks.
The following shall be required from future employees and shall be documented and filed:
- Completion of a detailed application form
- Have their application form critically analysed
- Have their last employers contacted by SCEE
- Pre-employment medical.
Attention shall be paid to:
- Checking of qualifications;
- Checking prior work history;
- Checking prior work experiences;
All Company employees entering the site of a client shall undergo the Induction Training Program conducted by the client and the SCEE Site Induction Training/Checklist.
In addition to the client’s induction, The Company shall require all employees to undergo an Induction Training Program.
The induction course shall include the following:
- Company Profile
- Hazardous Materials Procedures
- Company History
- Environmental Incident Reporting
- Company Policies
- Accident / Incident Reporting
- Company Facilities Familiarisation
- First Aid / Medical Procedures
- Visitor Controls
- Fire Extinguisher and Fire Hose Use
- Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing
- Safe Operating Work Procedures
- Key Company Personnel
