Installation and pre-commissioning of a new 22Kv ring main unit SG300. Supply, install and pre-commission power instrumentation and lighting cabling and fixtures to all plant areas. Modify and extend existing motor control centres in existing substations, Salcon Hut modification and replace 3.3Kv Garo chlorine compressor motors.

SCEE was required to complete various works during four shutdowns including one major thirteen day shutdown, which involved the cutting and jointing of existing 22kv High voltage cables to transformers TX301, TX302 and ring main unit SG300.
As an electrical contractor SCEE finds itself following the progress of the mechanical contractor closely. SCEE were required to follow not only the routines, procedures and permit system of the client Proteus, but had to adhere to the operating guidelines provided by the plant operations
