The electrical and instrumentation installation systems for a Pressure Oxidation facility for the Pueblo Viejo Project. The Plant includes three autoclaves for pressurised oxidation of the ore, off gas handling, three boiler and water/air utilities. Electrical works included mounting transformers, 5kV and 480V switchgear & motor control centres, 480V variable speed drives & an uninterruptible power supply system; installing and interconnecting cable bus duct, cable tray and cabling to associated equipment, and installing lighting, grounding, lightning protection and receptacles.

The instrumentation works involves installing a distribution control system, and mounting and wiring approx. 1200 instrument back to the distribution control system. A Control room, electrical room and transformer area house the major electrical and instrumentation equipment.
