SCEE offers a distinct perspective on the challenges of sustainable growth by investing in dynamic structured training programs to empower individuals and allow them to reach their full potential. Our industry is fast paced and operates in a highly regulated environment. We engage in a culture of providing all of our employees with the technical skills, tools and knowledge they require to deliver both a quality outcome for our clients, and operate with an unyielding focus on safety. We aim to inspire, motivate and energise our business utilising training programs that are relevant, and encourage participation. From technical training, and career pathways, through to cultural awareness, we believe that the investment made in training today will be the catalyst for our growth tomorrow. The SCEE Training Department is well equipped, provides quality training and is charged with the responsibility of continuously evaluating the content and outcomes of all internal training programs, whilst simultaneously acquiring new knowledge on changing trends and industry innovations. Apprentice and Trainee ProgramOur Apprentice and Trainee program is also an important aspect of our business and SCEE has employed almost 100 Apprentices since 1979. In 2010 we introduced an Indigenous Trainee program and have employed 11 Indigenous Trainees to date. SCEE has recognised over the years that employing Apprentices and Indigenous Trainees is an investment for the company’s future growth and sustainability and will continue to employ, train and foster Apprentices and Indigenous Trainees for years to come. A demonstration of this commitment is a dedicated Training Centre and Training Staff to shape our Apprentices and Indigenous Trainees for excellence as they become an integral part of the company’s future business.
